    Member Benefits and Services

    USGA/NNWGA Handicap: Administers the USGA handicap system assuring compliance with all USGA requirements including updating GHIN handicap systems at all clubs, an active and inactive season for posting scores, Equitable Stroke Control and Tournament scoring records.

    IGN Handicap Service:  Allows members from Associations not on GHIN to share scores.

    NNWGA Newsletter: "On and Off the Course" is published 3 times a year and sent to each member via email.

    Directory: Updated annually and distributed to all member clubs, listing NNWGA history, member clubs and their officers, NSWGA history, handicap procedures/policies, slope charts, course ratings, local and state schedule of events, and NNWGA tournament entry forms.

    Junior Handicaps: Provides handicaps to junior girls free of charge.

    Course Rating/Measuring: Maintains records for all courses in the area to insure fair and accurate ratings so that all handicaps are fairly administered. Rating markers are being provided for all clubs to indicate the measurements of the NNWGA Course Rating Committee.

    Tournament Schedule: Arranges and conducts the annual Amateur Stroke Play Championship and the 2-Gal Team Championship, open to all members in good standing.

    Scholarship Fund: Provides scholarships for local high school students each year through the Junior Connection Foundation.

    Rules Education: Provides workshops on the USGA Rules of Golf open to all individual members.

    High School Instruction: Arranges for an annual workshop for High School Golf Teams with instruction by local Golf Professionals, a Rules Clinic and lunch.

    State Dues: Enrolls each Regular member in the Nevada State Women’s Golf Association. These dues make the members eligible for all the NSWGA tournaments.

    Handicap Only Services: Provides players who are not members of a member club with a handicap at the same charge. This fee does not allow the player to be eligible for any NNWGA or NSWGA tournaments. To be eligible for these events a player must join a member club as a regular member.

    Web Site:  Provides a source of information for all members, prospective members and guests about the Association, its clubs and services and events of the NNWGA and NSWGA.
