Association

The Northern Nevada Women's Golf Association is a non-profit amateur golf association established in 1961 and incorporated in 1994 whose purpose is to promote interest in the game of golf for the women of Northern Nevada and the surrounding areas.

The NNWGA is made up of both member clubs and individual members. A volunteer Executive Board comprised of 8 elected members plus 3 Standing Committee Chairmen administer the association between tri-annual meetings. A volunteer Board of Directors consisting of a delegate from each club plus the Executive Board meet in January, June and October. There are currently 32 member clubs (public, private and non-real estate) with approximately 2200 individual members.
